Kipp-Tester – A Multilingual Testing-Technology Platform

The Starting Point

Kipp-Tester has been developing and selling testing devices since 1993 that let cemetery administrations, parishes and stonemasons check the stability of gravestones – court-proof under Germany's TA-Grabmal regulation. This isn't a product sold on emotion; it's a technical product where measurement accuracy, DIN EN ISO 9001 certification and legal defensibility are the actual selling points. The target audience also includes authorities outside Germany, so the website had to be multilingual and technically robust from day one.

The Solution

1. Custom development instead of a template

For a product offered in five languages – German, English, French, Polish, Russian – no off-the-shelf theme was enough. The site is a custom Next.js build with its own security configuration, including a Content Security Policy, HSTS and a strict Permissions Policy.

2. A product catalog with real price transparency

The base version, the Profi-Set, the force-measurement unit (KraftMessEinrichtung) and the KTH handling aid are all listed as standalone products with net and gross pricing, alongside calibration, maintenance, spare parts and used devices – each with a pre-filled inquiry form for its specific variant.

3. B2B trust in the details

"Purchase on invoice" for authorities and trade businesses, "trusted since 1993," "Made in Germany," DIN EN ISO 9001 and a 5-year warranty aren't buried as marketing fluff – they sit exactly where procurement officers at municipalities and parishes look for them when comparing suppliers.

The Result

A niche that requires a lot of explanation and carries real liability risk now has a website that works internationally, meets modern security standards, and lets authorities keep the purchase-on-invoice process they rely on without procurement hurdles.
